Cortagen is the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro, one of Vladimir Khavinson's short bioregulator peptides.
Cortagen is a four-amino-acid peptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Pro, written AEDP in one-letter code. It comes from the same family of short bioregulator peptides as Epithalon and Cartalax, grouped here under Bioregulators. It is not the same product as Cortexin, which is a mixture rather than a single defined peptide. Vendors sell Cortagen research-use-only as a lyophilized powder, usually in 20 mg vials.
